Membership is open to all Kenyan citizens aged 18 years and above, holding a valid national ID. Applicants must read, understand, and accept the party’s Constitution and Manifesto, and pay the necessary registration and subscription fees. Registration can be done physically or through USSD code *509#.
Members have rights to contest party positions, participate in elections, attend meetings, and promote the party. They are expected to market the party, recruit others, and defend party values in all forums.
Disclaimer: Once we receive your registration details, we will verify your political affiliation with the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP). If you're already a member of another political party, your application will be declined, and you will receive an SMS with the reason. If your information is valid, you will receive instructions on how to complete your membership payment. Please ensure all the information you provide is accurate and truthful.
A member may resign from the People's Party of Kenya by submitting a written notice to the Secretary General. Members may also be expelled for non-payment of annual subscriptions, gross misconduct, or insubordination.
All members are expected to actively market and recruit new members to the party, uphold party values, and support its activities at every level.
Disclaimer: You must not be a registered member of another political party. If currently affiliated with another party, you are required to formally resign before joining the People's Party of Kenya, as per ORPP regulations.
