Our Manifesto

Home Back

At the Peoples Party of Kenya (PPK), we believe that the measure of a just society is how it treats its most vulnerable members, including the elderly, marginalized communities, pastoralists, and persons with disabilities. Our policy vision is centered on inclusive development, equitable resource distribution, and social protection systems that leave no Kenyan behind.

1. Economic Empowerment for the Elderly and Vulnerable

PPK recognizes that many elderly Kenyans have been sidelined from mainstream economic growth. We are committed to:

  • Developing a national economic policy that is inclusive of the elderly and vulnerable populations.
  • Creating social protection programs including stipends, healthcare access, and community support for senior citizens.
  • Ensuring that national development plans are people-centered and trickle down to benefit every household.

2. Equitable Resource Distribution

To build a more equal society, PPK will:

  • Enforce policies that guarantee fair allocation of national resources across counties and social groups.
  • Monitor and audit public spending to ensure transparency and equity, especially in historically underfunded areas.

3. Anti-Poverty and Development Programs

Poverty remains a core obstacle to dignity and participation. PPK will:

  • Launch targeted poverty eradication initiatives, particularly in rural and high-need communities.
  • Support job creation, community cooperatives, and local industries that stimulate inclusive economic growth.

4. Marshall Plan for Marginalized Areas

Recognizing historical injustices, PPK will implement a comprehensive ?Marshall Plan? to uplift neglected regions by:

  • Investing in critical sectors like education, infrastructure, healthcare, and access to clean water.
  • Empowering local leadership to oversee development tailored to their community needs.

5. Economic Diversification and Market Access

To reduce dependency and boost resilience, PPK will:

  • Promote market opportunities for pastoralist products like livestock, hides, and crafts.
  • Support the diversification of economic activities in pastoral and arid regions to include agribusiness, tourism, and renewable energy.

6. Representation and Disability Inclusion

We are committed to a political system where all voices are heard. PPK will:

  • Ensure representation of marginalized and minority communities in governance and policy-making forums.
  • Initiate special programs for persons with disabilities (PWDs), including access to education, employment, assistive devices, and leadership training.

Our Vision

A nation where no one is left behind?where the elderly are cared for, the marginalized are empowered, and development reaches even the furthest corners of the country.
